The Cunning Hares were formed as a small-scale human resource dispatch agency, their main business to deal with commissions relating to Hollows. Though small in size, all members possess noteworthy abilities.
The agency was originally registered under the name "Gentle House", but due to the founder's cunning and crafty style, they earned the name the "Cunning Hares".
Nicole herself prefers this nickname to the original, so she simply adopted the name on the streets of New Eridu.
