The Corrupted
The Corrupted are individuals who have been exposed to the Unknown Substance in the Hollows, and as a result have been corrupted and eventually mutated.
Ordinary people lost in the Hollows face not only the horror of being attacked by monsters, but have to risk the corruptiona nd eventual mutation.
Corrupted individuals are dangerous to ordinary citizens and should be avoided.
If you are spotted by an Ethereal, The Corrupted, or other dangers and have to flee, do so in a direction where the air feels easiest to breathe.
